We have tried the app, and visited their office. We can guarantee that Manis is not a scam because:

The are also a few bad reviews about them on the web on the web, and most are about the speed of the receipt approval. From our own experience, the speed of approval can vary depending on the season. If it is the shopping season such as the end of the year or during festive (hari raya, CNY) season, then the approval can take some time because of the volume of receipt submission.
