Autodesk, together with the Department of Polytechnic & Community College Education (EPCCE), Ministry of Higher Education and Design Technology Alliance (M) Sdn Bhd are pleased to announce its 2nd Autodesk Design Competition offered to the education sector. This competition is sponsored by HP.

The objective of the competition is to provide a platform for students from Public Higher Learning Institutions, Polytechnics and Community College and Private Institutions of Higher Learning to showcase their talents and be recognised for their creativity, innovative thinking, and design expertise. The competition will provide participants with an opportunity to:

* learn about engineering and architectural design through a realistic, hands-on problem-solving experience using the computer as a problem-solving tool
* demonstrate their problem solving and design skills
* gain new perspectives on how design teams from different disciplines approach a common design problem
* meet future professionals from a variety of design backgrounds
