Maxis Euro Fantasy League brings to you an opportunity to create your own winning fantasy team and complete with the best brains in the game!

All you need to do is register with us.

The Game
To start, lets first understand the purpose of the game.

Maxis Euro Fantasy League is played from 7th June to 29th June 2008 in sync international matches to be played between European football giants.

The aim of the game is to select players daily who can score the most for you. As explained in detail below, players that you select in your fantasy team score points for you based on their performance in real matches. As the game progresses, you accumulate more and more points. The teams that win the most points stand to win fabulous prizes. What's more, there are tons of attractive prizes for various phases of the competition too!

Register to Play!
To start this exciting journey, all you have to do is to register yourself by providing some information about yourself!

You get to name your team. And if you want, you can give it you own slogan and a description too. Your team will even get its own page where others can come and watch your team's performance. At the end of each match day, the scores for your players and team will be updated within a short time. Ranks for top 100 teams will also be displayed.

So just sign up and get into the driving seat… don’t just watch from sidelines, be a part of this football season!

Create your Fantasy Team!
Post registration, you can then login with your Team Name and password and go right ahead to create your winning team!

Team Management
Here, you get to select a team of 11 of your choice. Complete list of teams and players participating in eligible matches will be available, from which you can choose the players that you think will score the most.

You are provided a credit pool of 750 points to start with and you can buy your team using these credit points.

Whenever you select a player for your team the amount you pay for him gets debited from your credit pool. When you remove a player from your team the cost gets credited back to your pool.

The cost of each player (shown in Credits) has been determined by our panel of experts. However, do note that the player costing is ‘Dynamic’, which means the cost of the player changes with his performance in every match – he does well, the cost goes up and he doesn’t do well the cost goes down!

Before you select your team, choose the formation you would like for your team. You can choose from the following:
4-4-2 (4 defenders, 4 midfielders, 2 strikers) plus a goal keeper
4-3-3 (4 defenders, 3 midfielders, 3 strikers) plus a goal keeper
3-4-3 (3 defenders, 4 midfielders, 3 strikers) plus a goal keeper
Next, simply choose players one by one from the list based on their role, country and cost. Drag and drop players from the list to the correct position on to the play field. Just make sure the player positions are correct else they won’t stay!

To remove any player from your selection, click the ‘remove player’ link.

Once you are sure of your team, save your changes and submit the team for the day – make sure you select your team at least one hour before the start of the first match on any Match Day so that your team can participate on matches taking place on that Day.

Its important to remember that, Maxis Euro Fantasy League game is played on a daily basis and so make sure you select your fantasy team everyday from that days matches.

Player Transfers
You’re allowed unlimited transfers as long as you do not use more credits than you have in your Credit pool. On every transfer, the current value of player will be applicable and an equal amount of money will be either credited or debited from your Credit pool.

You must transfer and save your new team at least one hour before the start of the first match on any Match Day.

Players points will automatically be updated at the end of each Match Day and the new team positions will be displayed.

Others can view scores of your team, just like you can view others! So go right ahead and challenge your friends to beat your team scores!

Monitor your Team’s Performance
You can review how your team performed on any given Match Day, by going to View My Team. Select the Match Day and you can see both the formation you had selected on that Match Day as well as how your team players performed.

Player Statistics
Before selecting players for your team, you would surely like to review their performance in the matches up to that point. You can view each players performance details in the Player Statistics section.

Winners
– The teams with the maximum points after Phase I and/or at the end of the game will be declared winners.
– In case of a tie, the team that has scored more goals will be adjudged the winner.
– In case there is a tie on both the above criteria, the team that has been created earlier will be declared winner.
– In the unlikely event of a tie in all the above three, the winner will be declared by our panel of experts. Note that the decision of the panel will be binding.
– Team Managers are eligible to win only one prize for the complete game. In case the winner of a prize is also adjudged the winner of another one, he/she will be awarded the prize of higher value, while the other prize will be awarded to the next eligible winner.
– All prizes will be given at the end of the game – when the league concludes!
