TERMS & CONDITIONS:

The following Terms & Conditions applies to the “Count This” contest (“Contest”).
The Contest Period will be held from 18th May 2009 until 31st May 2009 with both dates inclusive (“Contest Period”).
The Campaign is organized by AirAsia Berhad (the “Organiser”).

CONTEST ENTRIES:

This Contest is open to all customers of the Organiser and/or www.airasia.com users except employees and their immediate family members and also all media and creative agencies servicing the Organiser, P.T. Indonesia AirAsia, Thai AirAsia Co., Ltd., AirAsia Go Holiday Sdn. Bhd and its subsidiaries (“Eligible Participant”).
Entry to the Contest is as follows:

* Participants are required to submit an answer on the amount of tea leaves as highlighted in the picture on http://www.airasia.com/amazing/en/index.htm
* The top 5 entries with the correct answer or nearest to the correct answer will be deemed winners.
* All entries must be submitted and received by 23:59 on 31 May, 2009
* Only Participant that fulfils the contest mechanism stated above shall be eligible to win the prize.
* Incomplete entries and/or participant that fail to fulfil the contest mechanism will automatically be disqualified from the Contest without notice.

PRIZE:

* 5 pairs of Return flight ticket to Colombo, Sri Lanka departing from Kuala Lumpur
* The winner is bound by the terms and conditions that come with the prize including but not limited to this Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions of Carriage of the Organiser.
* The Prize must be booked, travelled and fully redeemed by 15 August 2010
* The prize excludes airport taxes, administrative fees, insurance coverage, baggage, meals and advance seat request.

* Bookings are subject to availability and please do make your bookings at least 8 weeks in advance. Any cancellation subsequent to a confirmed booking will be subject to amendment / cancellation fees as may be advised to you.

* The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

SELECTION OF WINNERS AND COLLECTION OF PRIZE:
FIVE (5) winners of the Contest will be selected based on his/her answer being correct or nearest to correct.

Winner of this Contest will be announced and published on www.airasia.com AND / OR http://www.airasia.com/amazing/en/index.htm on 10 June 2009
Winner will be contacted via email and/ or phone call from the Organiser
Winner will be required to collect the Prize from:

Should the Winner be unable to collect his/her prize, he/she is allowed to send his/her representative with a photocopy of the representative’s Identity Card (IC) and a letter of authorization from the Winner to collect the Prize on his/her behalf.

Judging
The decisions of the Organiser are final and conclusive. The Prize is not payable or exchangeable for cash or in kind. No correspondence, queries, appeals or protests will be entertained.
The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative prize(s) of the same value, whenever it deems fit and appropriate to do so.
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entries from any participant in the Contest and prohibit that person from further participating in the Contest in the event there is suspicion that there has been an attempt to tamper with the outcome/ result.
The Organiser, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any aspect of the Contest (including to cancel or discontinue the Contest or to replace/substitute the Prize being offered) or any part of these Terms and Conditions without notice and the participants agree to be bound by such amendments.
Participation in the Contest is deemed to be a participant’s agreement to this terms and conditions and consent for his/her I.C. number and/or other particulars, including but not limited to photograph (if applicable) to be used, displayed and published by the Organiser at its sole discretion for advertising and publicity purposes (without any payment to the participant) unless informed otherwise.
Should the Winner be un-contactable within two (2) weeks after the announcement of the Contest results on http://www.airasia.com , the Organiser, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to award the Prize to the next randomly selected Eligible Participant.

Liability
The Organiser do not warrant that the Contest shall be uninterruptible and/or error free. By participating in this Contest, the participants hereby acknowledge and irrevocably agree that the Organiser shall not in any manner whatsoever be liable for any interruption and/or any error arising from the Contest.
None of the Organiser shall be responsible or held liable, whether to the participant or to any third party, for any claims, damages or losses of any nature, including but not limited to, lost of profits, punitive, direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages relating to, in connection with or arising out of the participant’s participation in this Contest.
None of the Organiser shall be responsible or be held liable, whether to the participant or to any third party, for any system, server or connection failure, interruption and delay in receiving messages or computer viruses and shall not be responsible or held liable for any related claims, losses or damages of any nature relating or arising from such circumstances, including but not limited to direct, indirect, third party or consequential damages.
By participating in the Contest, it is deemed that the participant agrees to be bound by the terms and subject to the conditions herein set out upon submission of entry. The decisions of the Organiser in relation to every aspect of the Contest including but not limited to the type of prize and winner shall be deemed final and conclusive under any circumstance and no complaint from any participants will be entertained.

The terms and conditions herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional or advertising materials for the Contest. In the event of any inconsistency, conflict, ambiguity or discrepancy between the English version and the Bahasa Malaysia version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail at all times.
