Cathay Pacific International Wilderness Experience 2008 – The Amanzi World of South Africa

The Cathay Pacific International Wilderness Experience 2008 contest is now calling for entries! Open to all Malaysians aged between 16 – 18 years, the contest provides an unprecedented opportunity for an all-expenses paid trip to South Africa to enjoy an educational experience of a lifetime.

The Malaysian delegates will join teenagers from eight other countries for a seven-day programme, from 22-28 July, where the students will have the opportunity to snorkel in the Indian Ocean, get involved in a community service project, spend time with the locals to learn about their traditional way of life, and an elephant game drive to view African wildlife in its natural habitat.

This will be the 14th Cathay Pacific International Wilderness Experience programme. Since its inception in 1994, nearly 600 students have flown to South Africa. Full details and application form can be found at http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_INTL/aboutus/iwe.

Closing date for all entries is on 30 May 2008.
