The closing date is Feb 1, 2009.

For the past few years, successful participants selected by StarEducation have gone on blind dates for dinner on Valentine’s Day, but Table for Two this year will come with a twist.

Since friendships are best built through doing activities together, this year we will be pairing up ten lucky guys and girls and putting them through a series of interesting challenges – Amazing Race-cum-treasure hunt, but without the dirt and pain!

Of course, the icing on the cake would be a romantic dinner for you and your “blind date” at the end of the day.
Previous participants who had the privilege of indulging in a free dinner by candlelight will tell you that they found adventure, friendship and gained a few fans!

Lee Kang Xian, a Table for Two participant last year, shared his initial thoughts upon applying for the special night.

“I submitted my entry out of boredom after studying for exams without much expectation, and ended up meeting nine new people that night.” And it was not only friends he got, but fans as well.

“After the event, I had people asking me about my experience from the event, pre-event and post-event.”

Another participant who still keeps in touch with friends he made last Valentine’s day is John Chang, who had hoped to meet a future partner at the event.

“I brought my date a rose in a bottle which I made, since it was a special night and I thought it should be accompanied with something meaningful.”

While it wasn’t love at first sight, John kept in touch with not only his date that night, but also with the other four couples.

“It was a wonderful experience, and I sometimes chat with them online.”

Only five girls and five guys will be selected, so what are you waiting for? This is a great opportunity to meet new people, add some interesting photos to Facebook, create sweet memories and even find the love of your life.
