Terms and Conditions
1. Energizer Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“The Organiser”) is the organiser of the Energizer “Catch ThePowerbot” contest (“The Contest”).
2. . The Contest is hosted exclusively on Energizer’s Facebook Page (“The Page”) and rewards Malaysians who submit their most creative captions in less than ten [10] words with a screenshot of the PowerBot GIF in complete robot mode.
3. The Contest is open to all Malaysians who are 16 years and above and must possess valid Malaysian Identity Cards.
4. To participate, eligible participants (“Contestants”) must submit their most creative captions in less than ten [10] words with screenshot of the PowerBot GIF in complete robot mode in the comment section.
5. Employees of Energizer Malaysia Sdn Bhd and its affiliate companies, agencies, vendors and third-party suppliers, along with their *immediate family members are ineligible to participate.
*immediate family members mean spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters
6. Where the Age of Eligibility permits participation of Contestants under the age of 16-years old, the Contestants must obtain consent from his/her parent or legal guardian in order to be eligible to participate in the Contest and receive the Prize. The Organiser considers it the responsibility of parents and/or guardian to monitor their children’s participation in this Contest
7. The Contest period is from 22nd June to 14th July 2017 (by 11.59pm).
8. The Organiser reserves the right to vary, postpone or re-schedule the Contest Period or any dates thereof at its sole discretion.
9. The Contest will be organized by the Organiser in English.
10. All Valid Entries must be posted on Facebook by 11.59 p.m, 14th July 2017.
11. All winners will be announced on 21st July 2017.
Judging Criteria
14. Entries will be judged based on two criteria, in order of importance:
A. The screenshot of the PowerBot GIF in complete robot mode,
B. The captions, within a limit of 10 words, which is based on but not limited to:
i. Creativity, Humour, Wittiness, Wackiness, Accuracy and other qualities which the organiser feels best answer the contest’s requirements
15. Judging is conducted entirely at the organiser’s discretion.

Winner Notification
17. Winners will be contacted by the Organiser via Facebook Messaging, up to a maximum of three (3) attempts. If the participant does not respond to any of the attempts, the Organiser will notify the next shortlisted Contestant.
18. For verification purpose, prior to announcing the winners, the organiser will obtain the details such as names, IC no, numbers and address via private message.
19. Winners will be notified by Facebook Messaging within one to two [1-2] weeks for prize collection or delivery.
20. The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any incorrect shipping information and will not substitute any prizes.
21. The Organiser is not responsible for any shipping costs and surcharges, or for the loss of any items in the course of delivery.
22. By submitting a contest entry, the Contestant expressly agrees and consents to:
i. Participate in this contest and be a willing Participant;
ii. Be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein, including the decisions of Energizer and its Affiliates concerning this contest;
iii. Allow Energizer, its Affiliates and their agencies to process and disclose to any third party, all personal data of the Eligible Participant provided by the Eligible Participant in the contest form for any and all purposes relating to this contest and any and all other activity relating to or arising from the course of business or businesses of Energizer and its Affiliates.
iv. The use, reproduction and distribution of the Eligible Participant’s photograph, image or likeness by Energize, its Affiliates and their agencies without compensation for any purpose which it deems fit in the conduct of its business, including without limitation the promotion, marketing, advertisement or publication of the Eligible Participant’s image or likeness in relation to this contest;
v. Hold harmless and indemnify Energizer and its Affiliates from any loss or damage suffered during delivery of prizes.
23.The Organiser reserves the right to at any time, change, amend, delete or add to the Terms and Conditions and other rules and regulations including the mechanism of the Contest at its absolute discretion.
24. Submission of the Contest Entry does not guarantee the Contestant the opportunity to participate in the Contest. The Organiser shall be entitled to reject or refuse participation by the Contestants for reasons, including (without limitation) where the Contest Entry is not complete or any provisions in the Terms and Conditions is not fulfilled or adhered to by the Contestant.
25.The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify Contestants and/or revoke the Prize (at any stage of the Contest) if:- The Contestant is ineligible and breaches the Terms and Conditions or other rules and regulations of the Contest or violated any applicable social media community guidelines, laws or regulations; or in the Organiser’s sole evaluation when it believes that the Contestant has attempted to undermine the operation of the Contest by fraud, cheating or deception.
26. The Contestants forever waive, release and discharge the Organiser, its agencies, sponsors and representatives from and against, any and all liabilities, costs, loss, damages or expenses which the Contestant or any party claiming through the Contestant hereafter may have arising out of acceptance of any Prize(s) or participation in the Contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether or not direct, consequential or foreseeable.
27.The Contestant shall indemnify the Organiser, its affiliates, agent and sponsors from and against all liability, cost, loss or expenses suffered thereby as a result of the Contestant’s breach of the Contestant’s warranties and undertakings and any breach of the Terms and Conditions and/or the rules and regulations of the Contest.
28. The Organiser’s decisions on all matters relating to the Contest (including without limitation, the selection of Contestants, play of the contest and/or any resolutions made) shall be final and absolute and binding on the Contestants. No discussion, correspondence, inquiry, appeal or challenge in respect of any decision of the Organiser will be entertained.
29. The Contestant shall not dispute nor make any oral or written complaints, public announcements or statements during or after the Contest Period.
30.The Organiser will not be responsible or liable for
i. any problem, loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by the Contestant or any party due to any delay and/or failure in receiving and sending a Contest Entry as a result of any network, communication, ISP or system error, interruption and/or failure experienced by the Organiser or the Contestant’s telecommunication service provider and/or resulting from participation or the downloading of any materials in the Contest. In the event of such error, interruption and/or failure, the Organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any failure encountered by any Contestant to participate in the Contest or any failure encountered by the Organiser in fulfilling its obligations here under.
ii. any error (including error in notification of Contest winners),omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorized access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside the Organiser’s control.
31. These terms and conditions are governed by Malaysian law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
