Terms and Conditions from Jordan180years
The following Terms and Conditions govern the participation in the Jordan 180th Anniversary Contest (“The Contest”), which is organized by Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. (“The Organiser”).
The Organiser reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to the Terms and Conditions and other rules and regulations including the mechanism of the Contest any time and at its absolute discretion.
The Organiser may terminate or suspend the Contest at any time at its absolute discretion in which case, the Organiser may elect not to award any prize. Such termination or suspension will not give rise to any claim by the Participants. If the Organiser resumes the Contest, the Participants shall abide by the Organiser’s decision regarding resumption of the Contest and disposition of the Prizes.
This Contest is open to Malaysians aged 18 years old and above only. However, all Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd employees, its associated marketing agencies/staff and their immediate family members are NOT entitled to participate in this Contest.
Each entry must be accompanied with proof of purchase (i.e. receipt of purchased Jordan products).
Image of the packaging is not accepted as the proof of purchase. Submissions without a receipt as proof of purchase will be forfeited.
Entrants may submit multiple entries, but each entry form must be accompanied by proof of purchase. Each Contestant is only entitled to win one (1) prize for the entire duration of the contest.

The Contest Period starts on 1 May 2017 and ends on 31 July 2017 (“Campaign Period”) by 4.00pm. Any submissions later than the specified end date and end time will be automatically disqualified.

Submissions will be deemed invalid if the entry details are incomplete or incorrect.
All postage, transportation, accommodation, personal cost and/or any other costs and/or related expenses that are incurred to participate in this contest as well as to redeem the Prizes are the sole responsibility of the entrants and winners. The Organiser is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
Proof of delivery will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Prizes are as stated only and no cash alternatives will be given.
Winners will be determined by a panel of judges, whose decision shall be final and conclusive. No correspondence, queries, appeals or protests will be entertained. Winners of travel packages will receive a travel gift voucher from Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd.
Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Organiser. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accepts the conditions of use of that prize.
Winners must claim their prizes with the appointed Travel Agency (Boustead Travel Services Sdn. Bhd.) by Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. within the period of “1 September 2017 – 31 October 2017”. Travel period will be from “1 September 2017 – 31 March 2018”. Prizes must be redeemed within the travel period, or else it is considered forfeited.
Winners will work with the appointed Travel Agency to customise their travel packages. The travel package value must be within the cash value of the prizes won.
Winners are free to pick and choose the relevant travel package(s) of their choice for two (2) people only. Any cost of travel for any additional traveler(s) is not included.
Travel Agency will develop an itinerary that fit within the allocated prize amount for each winner.
The Organiser will bear the costs for return air fare from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Designated Destination on itinerary, accommodation and scheduled ground transportation and packaged ground tours. Any out-of-pocket expense not mentioned in the itinerary is to be borne by the winner.
Winners shall confirm their travel arrangements with the appointed Travel Agency (Boustead Travel Services Sdn. Bhd.) no later than 31 Oct 2017.
All Prizes must be collected within the Collection Period and at such Collection Venue as set out in the Terms and Conditions. Failure to claim Prizes shall result in the Prizes being forfeited by the Organiser. The Organiser, its agents, sponsors and representatives shall have no liability to the Winners in any respect whatsoever.
In the event that a selected winner chooses not to accept a Prize, the Prize shall be forfeited and the Prize which will be dealt with according to the absolute discretion of the Organiser.
Upon confirmation and booking of the travel packages, winners shall redeem the package and travel before 31 March 2018.
Prize travel and accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. The winner and their companion must travel together based on the final travel itinerary.
Any changes on the date of travel which will result in any additional surcharges relevant to the holiday packages booked will be the sole responsibility of the Winners.
There can be no changes to travel arrangements once tickets have been issued or accommodation bookings once the reservation is confirmed.
The Organiser makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
Winners must hold a valid passport with at least six (6) months’ validity period. It shall be the responsibility of winners to obtain the necessary visa and other travel documents at their sole cost and expense. No compensation whatsoever will be given should the winner fail to obtain such documents, regardless of the circumstances.
It shall be the responsibility of winners to obtain the necessary visa and other travel documents (if so required) at their sole cost and expense. Passport control and in-country authorities reserve the right to refuse entry. If the winner of a Holiday Prize is refused passage, entry or exit to or from the country being visited, the Organiser will not be responsible in any way to compensate the winner for such refusal of passage, entry or exit and any additional costs incurred will be at the sole cost and responsibility of the Winner.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Organiser and/or the sponsor, the Organiser and/or sponsor reserves the right to offer alternative destination of approximately similar value. No cash alternative will be offered.
Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize-winner and companion.
Holiday package winners must have sufficient financial resources to meet any financial commitment which they may incur in connection with the travel prize (including, without limitation, transfers to and from any airport specified in the travel prize, meals and drinks, room services, laundry, excess baggage, personal, medical and/or baggage insurance, all items of personal nature, custom tax and airport tax) beyond those included in the travel prize itself.
Winners will be requested by The Organizer to share testimonials on Jordan products in the form of a recorded videos or, in the form of images.
Winners will work with the appointed marketing agency of the 180th Anniversary contest and provide images and/or footages during their travel period for marketing purposes.
Consolation prizes will be mailed to the delivery addresses submitted by the Participants. The appointed contest management agency will contact the winners prior to delivery for verification purposes.
All images and/or video footages shared by the winners shall become the property of the Organiser. Unless prohibited by law, The Organiser and their agents shall acquire the right to announce, use, adapt, edit or revise entries in any manner in any and all media and in any country or jurisdiction for commercial or non-commercial use without having to disclose the identity of the Participants or to pay them any additional compensation.
Submission of an entry further constitutes the consent of the Participants and his/her parents or legal guardian to irrevocably assign and transfer to Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. all rights, titles and interests in the entry, including, without limitation, all patents, design rights and copyrights.
The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to provide an alternative prize of an equivalent value and reward packages without prior notice. The Organiser shall not be liable for prizes that are lost, damaged or stolen during or after the course of collection and/or delivery.
Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. reserves the rights to amend the Terms & Conditions contained herein, wholly or in part at any time and to end the Contest earlier or extend it further at its absolute discretion, without prior notification.
All entrants to the contest are deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to be bound by them and agree to co-operate in any publicity that may arise.
By submitting an entry to The Organiser, the Participants consent to The Organiser for disclosing the Personal Data and photographs of the contestants for: –
publishing in any mass media or marketing materials for advertising or publicity purposes; and
any other purpose in relation to the Competition which is considered by The Organiser to be in The Organiser’s interest, in any manner as and when The Organiser deems necessary without further notice to the Participants and/or the respective winners.
The Participants agree and give consent to The Organiser’s branches, agencies, representative offices, affiliated, associated or related corporations, and their respective officers, servants or agents, whether situated in or out of Malaysia, permission to process all the Personal Data submitted by the Participants.
The term “process” shall include but is not limited to, collecting, recording, holding, storing, using and/or disclosing.
“Personal Data” may include, but is not limited to, the contestants’ name, identity card number, address, e-mail address, phone number, gender and other relevant information provided by the contestant during or after the Contest.
The Participants’ Personal Data will be collected from the information the Participants’ have provided to Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. in the entry form and any other documents provided in relation to the Contest.
The purpose for which Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. collects the Personal Data (“Purpose”) includes the following:
To establish the Participants’ and/or the winners’ identity and background;
For communications with the Participants and/or the winners on any matter pertaining to the Competition, including but not limited to queries on the entry form details on the award ceremony and notification to the winners on the awards and prizes;
To contact the Participants and/or the winners to discuss any future exhibitions, publicity events related to their marketing campaigns and other events by the Organiser;
To meet the disclosure requirements of any law binding on The Organiser; for any other purpose that is required or permitted by any law, regulations, guidelines and/or relevant regulatory authorities.
The Participants need to provide The Organiser with the Personal Data, which are requested by The Organiser, failing which The Organiser may refuse to accept the Participants’ registration/entry in the Competition.
The Participants and/or the winners agree and consent that The Organiser may transfer their Personal Data outside of Malaysia. All Personal Data held by The Organiser and the Group will be accorded with reasonable level of protection against any loss, misuse, modification, unauthorised or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or deletion.
The Organiser agrees to take reasonable steps and measures to secure the safety of the Personal Data collected from the Participants.
The Organiser agrees the Personal Data collected from the contestants shall not be kept longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this Terms and Conditions.
